Riverside bliss in Chiang Rai

Beautiful peaceful setting. All the staff were very engaging and helpful. The room was massive with a balcony overlooking the pool.

Lovely 5 night stay in Chiang Road

The hotel had a lovely feeling to it with nice open spaces. Food was delicious and the pool was nice to relax next to. It was a short taxi ride (100 baht) to Chiang rai centre which we enjoyed most nights. Staff were lovely too.

Room was quite damp, so always had a damp smell to it. The decking by the pool area could do with a deep clean.

Everything: from the arrival welcome to the rooms. The concierge helped us plan a tailored guided tour following all our wishes. It was incredible! Spa and pool amenities are great Breakfast was good

Magnificent.. we loved it and would definitely recommend it to anyone and we will stay again

The beautiful gardens, trees and picturesque lake setting .. the excellent service and friendly staff.. the beautiful and extensive choice of breakfast and in house restaurants were amazing!!

It was a little bit far from local shops.. but that's certainly not a criticism of the resort, but just a little inconvenient if you need to buy something that the resort doesn't supply.

Excellent resort stay by the Kok river.

Excellent staff services. Great food although restricted to 2 restaurants. It’s so comfortable that you do not want to leave the place to do anything else , but just to relax, rest and refresh your well-being. The promotional rate for spa was a “steal”, and the spa experience was great. Excellent breakfast spread.

Nothing really, except that there’s an overly friendly frog(I guess) that croaks all night and I was trying to get used to - there’s a pond just downstair, outside my balcony.

A very special destination which is unique in providing serenity and Asian peacefulness.

This was out third visit to this hotel and we came with a family group of 9 for 5 days. It is a magic place and the magic still exists. The location on the river is the main focus and the landscaping is brilliant. It is a large hotel but never feels it. The streets behind have a village feel and are well away from the chaos of downtown.

The food options were a little eclectic. I found dining in was laborious and would have preferred some more conventional options. We had a problem on the last night when thee was a loud party in a room near us, which started at about midnight. I couldn’t contact anyone from the hotel to report this. It went on until 2.30 am. There should be a contactable night manager.

Wish we could have stayed longer

Staff were all very helpful and kind. The Spa was exceptional, food and service was great.

Our room was close to the smoking area, we could smell cannabis being smoked when sitting on our balcony and at the pool. Not very pleasant, if i had children with me i would have found this to be upsetting.

Facilities, restaurants, were top quality. Room was spacious and modern.

Needs a bit of renovation on the outer facade but nothing significant to keep you away from staying.
